The North Texas Wind Riders Membership runs from January 1st through December 31st

The purpose of the club is to provide a community for local area windsurfers, and to promote the sport of windsurfing.

A typical yearly agenda for the NTWR consist of:

  • Hosting two major windsurfing regattas - The Texas State Championships and the Pumpkin Cup.
  • Hosting the Spring Series windsurfing regatta, a less formal opportunity to get competitive time on the water.
  • Holding three to four "Learn to Windsurf" events which provides an opportunity for anyone to learn the basics and try their hand at windsurfing on one of the local area lakes.
  • Monthly club meetings.
